rumba is an extension of Kimba Hills’ love of design and art. Based in Santa Monica’s classic Sunset Park neighborhood, rumba showcases Kimba’s passion for collecting and curating. “I grew up in the South where it’s all about making people feel welcome and comfortable in your home. rumba is an extension of my home,” Kimba explains. She began her career in the art department at Zoetrope, Francis Ford Coppola’s film studio. She then used her creativity in the industry to become a casting director for film and TV. But her lifelong passion for the arts led her back to set design, now set in one’s home. Kimba uses her design vision to personally hunt for furniture, art and home accessories. rumba features classic design, eclectic pieces and brilliant local artists. Kimba also offers services from traditional interior design to her trademarked Speed Design® process.
